this is my latest custom pony, modeled after Sweeney Todd, the Demon Baber of Fleet street. i went to see the film a week or so ago and was delighted with Burtons adduptation so much so i felt i had to have ago at recreating the famous barber in pony form (coz why not)
With great inspiration from the greats, Wossie and Poniesyeah, and after hours of staring at Johnny Depp (not a chore!) this is he!
the hair is mohair and pure wool, i really enjoyed working with this.
his clothing is sculpted with apoxi sculpt, but his scarf is a sliver of real wool tweed fabric. my fave bit though is the blood splattered up his arm i was really happy how that turned out.
